Service Agreement

 

This Service Agreement contains the terms to which you agree to enter upon booking services from Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk or via the subsidiary of The Rabbit Lady.

 

The Agreement

​

Any reference to ‘we’ or ‘us’ means Jaime Leader of Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk.

​

Any reference to ‘you’ means you the customer.

​

Any reference to ‘service’ means a pet care service which you have booked with Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk.

 

Our Services

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk agrees to provide service in a reliable, caring, timely, and trustworthy manner.

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk has reasonable skill, knowledge and experience to provide the service.

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk has valid Public Liability Insurance. The insurance only covers Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk for the duration of the selected service, and only for the services agreed. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the property, its contents and pets are adequately insured throughout the duration of the service.

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk is DBS checked and has access to emergency transport.

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk will be responsible for all personal living costs during the service.

 

Your Agreements

​

You agree to provide us with all information necessary for the satisfactory performance of our services, including any dietary, nutritional or exercise requirements.

​

You agree to supply the necessary, safe equipment, medication, food and supplies needed for the care of your animals.

​

You agree to provide us with an emergency contact person who will be available, and can make decisions concerning your home, your pet and your property, in your absence.

 

Your Pet

​

You will ensure your pet(s) remain up to date with all veterinary recommended ongoing treatment and vaccinations plus boosters.

​

You will ensure your pet(s) remain up to date with flea and worm treatments for the duration of the service.

​

You will ensure your pet(s)’ microchip and ID tag information are up to date.

​

You authorise us to take any action that we consider suitable in order to protect and maintain the health of your pet.

​

You confirm responsibility for any costs which might be incurred, either veterinary or other, as a result of any sickness, accident, or damage caused to or by your pet(s) excepting third party liability.

​

You understand that there is always a risk of illness, injury or incident to a pet when left at home. You agree not to hold Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk liable for any illness, injury, or incident during the service.

​

If Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk is bitten or exposed to any disease or ailment received from the client’s pet(s) which has not been properly or currently vaccinated, the client will be responsible for all costs and damages that may be incurred as a result.

​

Off-Lead Dog Walking & Unsupervised Outside Access

​

You will provide written permission for your dog to be walked off-lead by Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk. By doing so you certify that your dog is trustworthy off-lead and has good recall. 

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk will only walk your dog off-lead when deemed suitable and safe to do so. Unsuitable locations or circumstances will be clearly relayed to JPCN immediately. 

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss to the property or its contents if unsupervised outside access results in the security of the property being deemed inadequate. 

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury or ailment of pets that are cared for under the agreed conditions. 

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk will inform you or your emergency contact appropriately in the event of your pet becoming lost. Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk will take all reasonable measures to locate your pet. 

​

You will inform Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk immediately in writing should authorisation for off-lead walking or unsupervised outside access be revoked; otherwise authorisation will extend to all future bookings. 

​

Veterinary Care

​

You authorise us to obtain veterinary care to treat an existing or new medical condition or health issue.

​

You authorise us to obtain emergency veterinary care that may be necessary during the service.

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk will make every effort to contact you and/or your emergency contact prior to obtaining any veterinary care.

​

You accept responsibility for all charges related to veterinary care. You agree to reimburse us for any charges and expenses relating to your pets’ veterinary care.

​

You authorise us to utilise an alternative veterinarian in case of emergency should your regular veterinarian be unavailable, cannot be reached or does not operate an out-of-hours service.

 

Your Home

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk pledges to maintain the overall cleanliness and condition of the property during the service.

​

You will provide the necessary keys and alarm codes for the property to Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk for the duration of the service, if necessary. If the key provided does not work, you authorise us to obtain keys or access from emergency contacts, landlords, or using a locksmith.

​

Should any cleaning products necessary to the service be required, you are responsible for providing and/or covering expenses.

 

Should any home repairs become necessary, you or your emergency contact will be consulted and repairs will be carried out at your expense.

 

No liability can be attached to Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk should a third-party share access to the client’s property or pets.

 

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk does not accept responsibility for security of your premises during the service, unless in breach of prearranged security procedures.

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk does not accept responsibility for any damage to your property caused by your pet.

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk will maintain daily running tasks in your home including watering plants, emptying bins, and collecting posts. Please detail any relevant tasks upon booking.

​

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk will not be held responsible for any household expenses for the duration of the service, unless previously agreed. If you do not wish us to utilise any home amenities during the service, this must be detailed during booking.

 

Payment, Cancellations & Amendments

​

Accepted payment methods include;

1) Cash.

2) Cheque made payable to Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk.

3) Bank Transfer to Account No. XXXXXX21 and Sort Code XX-XX-04.

​

Full payment must be made within 7 days of conclusion of the service.

​​

A 50% deposit will be payable upon booking for services exceeding £60.00.

 

Cancellations made within 14 days of the service will be payable in full. 

 

Reasonable amendments made within 7 days of the service will require 50% payment for any loss to Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk.

 

In all other instances all fees will be refunded or held over for subsequent bookings. 

​

If Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk cannot provide the services agreed, 24 hours’ notice will be given and all fees will be refunded.

 

Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk shall not be liable to the client or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of the obligations in relation to the services, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond the reasonable control of Jaime’s Pet Care Norfolk.
